ISAE 3402 and SSAE 18 WHAT ARE THEY?<\/strong><\/h2>\n

ISAE is the International Standard on Assurance Engagements 3402 (ISAE 3402), and is an international assurance standard.<\/p>\n

Interested companies can be verified by a certification body that verifies compliance with the procedures and controls set out in the ISAE standard.<\/p>\n

Following verification by a certification body, the relevant Service Organization Control (SOC) reports are issued.<\/p>\n

Companies subject to audit and in possession of Service Organization Control (SOC) reports can guarantee their customers that the company has adequate internal controls.<\/p>\n

ISAE was developed by the International Auditing and Assurance Standards Board (IAASB) and is published by the International Federation of Accountants (IFAC<\/a>).<\/p>\n
