CE Machinery Certification

EXCE deals with CE Conformity Marking and CE Certification of the machinery


We offer to any  machinery manufacturers, traders and machinery importers\exporters the following services:

- advice on the machinery directive 2006/42 /EC (how to design and build machinery compliant with the machinery directive)

- drafting of the use and maintenance manual compliant with the machinery directive  2006/42 /EC

- drafting of risk analysis and creation of technical dossier compliant with the requirements of the machinery directive 2006/42 / EC

- drafting of the conformity’s declaration of the machinery compliant with the machinery directive 2006/42 / CE

- archiving of the technical document at our office (any  machinery manufacturers outside the European community have to establish a place, within the European community, to keep the technical documents)

- CE certification of the machinery


SCOPE OF THE EUROPEAN MACHINE DIRECTIVE

This directive applies to the following products:

  1. a) machinery
  2. b) interchangeable equipment;
  3. c) safety components;
  4. d) lifting accessories;
  5. e) chains, ropes and webbing;
  6. f) removable mechanical transmission devices;
  7. g) partly completed machinery.

"MACHINERY" MEANS:

  1. an assembly, fitted with or intended to be fitted with a drive system other than directly applied human or animal effort, consisting of linked parts or components, at least one of which moves, and which are joined together for a specific application,
  2. an assembly referred to in the first indent, missing only the components to connect it on site or to sources of energy and motion,
  3. an assembly referred to in the first and second indents, ready to be installed and able to function as it stands only if mounted on a means of transport, or installed in a building or a structure,
  4. assemblies of machinery referred to in the first, second and third indents or partly completed machinery referred to in point (g) which, in order to achieve the same end, are arranged and controlled so that they function as an integral whole,
  5. an assembly of linked parts or components, at least one of which moves and which are joined together, intended for lifting loads and whose only power source is directly applied human effort;
