QUALITY CERTIFICATION ACCORDING TO ISO 10891
What is ISO 10891 - "Certification of supervisory institutions"?
The aim of the UNI 10891 standard is to define the minimum requirements for services provided by private supervisory institutions of any legal nature, providing indications for the provision of each individual service, and the UNI 10891 Certification obtained by applying the principles of the standard refers to the standard.
Italian legislation provides that Private Security Institutes must be in possession of quality certification according to UNI 10891, entitled "Services - Private Security Institutes - Requirements".
Complementary and integrable with the UNI EN ISO 9001 Quality Management System, it provides specific added value for the coordination and management of emergencies, for the preparation and updating of service provisions, for keeping information and service anomalies and all monitoring and measurement equipment under control.
UNI 10891 Certification represents an interesting and transparent strategic communication tool for the certified surveillance institute; this can in fact use ISO certification to highlight the professionalisation of its resources and the quality of the control and monitoring systems adopted, i.e. its commitment to providing a better service in the preservation of protected assets and people involved in the areas subject to surveillance.
